Item Adsorption, Catalytic and Photocatalytic Properties of Metal Ion Exchanged Zeolites(2011-10-11T11:04:30Z) Sebastian, JinceItem Asymmetric Synthesis of Pharmaceutically important Cyanohydrins through chiral catalytic route using chiral Lewis acid based metal complexes(2011-10-10T11:02:29Z) Agrawal, SantoshItem Catalytic and Ion-exchange Applications of Hydrotalcite-like Materials(2012-05-02T09:58:10Z) Jinesh, C.M.Hydrotalcite-like (HT-like) materials, otherwise referred in literature as layered double hydroxides (LDHs), find versatile application in different fields as catalysts, catalyst supports,ion-exchangers/adsorbents, composite materials, drug carriers, functional materials and in batteries. With their different and interesting set of properties, they are efficient catalysts for wide range of organic reactions, in particular for base-catalysed reactions. Good knowledge on structure-activity relation for these materials, the number and strength of basic sites of these materials can be tuned precisely to cater a specific reaction. In addition, the interlayers of these materials are good host for anions and this property can be explored for anionic pollutant removal. In this doctoral thesis both the catalytic and ion-exchange ability of HT-like materials were explored for fine chemical synthesis and toxic anion removal.Item Catalytic Investigations on Hydroformylation of Lower Alkenes by Selective Metal/Metal Complex Based Catalysts(2011-10-11T11:40:53Z) Srivastava, Vivek KumarItem Chirally Modified Silicas for Separation and Asymmetric Catalysis(2011-10-10T05:02:11Z) Mayani, Vishal J.Item Development of Green Catalytic Routes for the Synthesis of Commercially Important Chemicals(2011-10-11T10:47:38Z) Sharma, Sumeet KumarItem Green Catalytic Organic Transformations for Synthesis of Industrially Imporant Fince Chemicals(2011-10-14T04:29:37Z) Krishna Mohan, JinkaItem Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Chiral catalysts for synthesis of chiral drug intermediates(2011-10-12T05:04:56Z) Pathak, KavitaItem Hydroformylation and Hydrogenation of Alkenes Catalyzed by Transition Metal Complexes(2011-10-14T04:22:37Z) Dabbawala, Aasif AshrafbhaiItem Immoblilization of Enzymes on Porous Materials and their Catalytic Applications(2011-10-12T05:07:59Z) Kannan, K.Item Studies on Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity of Nano-Crystalline Sulfated Zirconia(2011-10-11T11:16:43Z) Mishra, Manish KumarItem Synthesis and Characterisation of Chiral salen Transition Metal Complexes as Enantioselective Epoxidation Catalyst(2011-11-16T09:13:26Z) Singh, Surendra SinghHydrolytic kinetic resolution (HKR) of racemic alkene epoxide is an attractive strategy for the synthesis of valuable enantiopure terminal epoxide and corresponding diol in single step as racemic epoxides are inexpensive and commercially easily available. Both terminal epoxides and their respective diols in chirally pure form have wider applications both in academic and industrial context.Item Synthesis, Characterization and Adsorption Properties of Microporous Solids for Gas Separation(2011-10-11T05:56:20Z) Sethia, Govind
