Abstract
Magnesium sulphate, a byproduct of the salt industry offers possibilities for the production of sodium sulphate. use of solution prepared from the salt known as"sels mixts" collected either between 30' to 36' be' or 34' to 36' be' will be preferable to the use of sea-bittern itself. 85% of the magnesium sulphate can be converted into sodium sulphate at -5'C. details have been worked out indicating the economic feasibility of the process.
